LiveShopper is Officially ISO 27001 Certified
LiveShopper, a global leader in Mystery Shopping and Market Research SaaS platforms, announces today that it has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification for information security best practices. Established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the ISO 27001 certification follows a globally recognized standard which provides a model for establishing, monitoring, and continually improving a company’s information security management system (ISMS).
Companies receiving this certification have met more than 100 security requirements that govern the creation, implementation, and management of a modern analytics system. These requirements include physical protection of data, software development practices, systems architecture, and operational processes such as risk management and business continuity. In order to achieve the certification, LiveShopper compliance was validated by an independent security firm after demonstrating an ongoing and systematic approach to managing and protecting the company’s and customer’s data. With the successful ISO 27001 certification, businesses from around the globe can utilize our applications with the continued trust that LiveShopper has implemented the necessary security best practices.
The ISO 27001 certification arrives on the heels of LiveShopper receiving its SOC 2 certification just one month earlier. “We are committed to continuing to build trust through third party security assurances such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001,” said LiveShopper’s President, Paul Schmelzer. “Working with some of the most iconic brands in the world, these achievements demonstrate LiveShopper’s ability to deliver innovative solutions while meeting the security and compliance requirements that our customers require.”
Even though LiveShopper already utilizes a best-in-class ISO 27001 certified hosting provider, we feel that companies building software on top of these platforms are still responsible for demonstrating security and trust. Knowing that a third party has affirmed our security management processes for both our infrastructure, and the software we provide, is key in furthering the confidence of our existing and prospective customers.
