LiveShopper Sassie is a market research firm founded in 2016 and based in Findlay, OH. With over 110 resellers and 1000+ end-clients, our company has a proven record of helping clients, like you, improve customer experiences. In early 2020, LiveShopper acquired SurfMerchants LLC (Sassie), a software company out of Boston that provides a platform for market research technologies. This acquisition will combine tools to provide mystery shop/research companies with a world-class data collection solution and a state-of-the-art reporting platform for our retail, restaurant, hotel, and CPG clients. Now, instead of having to rely on multiple vendors, systems, and technologies, LiveShopper Sassie will give you everything in one easy-to-use product. If your clients are looking to capture consumer insights, measure operational performance, or track customer satisfaction levels, LiveShopper Sassie is the answer.   • Michael Mallett Founder & CEO

    Michael Mallett is the founder and CEO of LiveShopper Sassie. He was also the founder and CEO of... Corporate Research International from 1997 to 2011 when it sold to a publicly traded company. Outside of LiveShopper Sassie, he owns a holding company that invests in tech startups and commercial real estate. Michael's goal as an investor and CEO of LiveShopper Sassie is to further integrate new technology into the existing platform.

    Michael earned his degree in Business Administration and Management from The University of Findlay.

  • Paul Schmelzer President

    Paul Schmelzer is the President of LiveShopper Sassie. As a business owner and entrepreneur, he... understands the challenges and rewards of building, operating, and scaling a successful enterprise. With over 25 years of management experience, he enjoys being an integral part of client success.

    Paul earned his degree in Civil Engineering from Ohio Northern University.

  • Dan Boehm Executive Vice President

    Dan Boehm is Executive Vice President of LiveShopper Sassie. He is responsible for managing... the Shopper Insights function of LiveShopper Sassie and consults with a variety of clients every day. Before coming to LiveShopper Sassie in 2018, Dan worked in numerous senior leadership roles at Kantar, most recently as the Executive Vice President of Shopper Insights in North and South America. He brings extensive experience in building relationships with upper-level decision makers and delivering on customer commitments.

    Dan earned his degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University, and holds an MBA in Finance & Marketing from The University of Toledo.

  • Tony Felos CTO

    Tony Felos is Chief Technical Officer of LiveShopper Sassie. He currently leads the Boston office and oversees... the technology platform and development strategies. Tony was the founder and head engineer of Prophet Media Group from 1987 to 1999, when it was sold. He then co-founded and acted as Managing Partner of SurfMerchants, the makers of the Sassie Software System. In his roll at SurfMerchants, he managed client relations and product development from 1999 to 2020. After the company's Merger with LiveShopper in 2020, he assumed the role of CTO.

    Tony earned his degree in Audio Production and Engineering from Berklee College in Boston.

  • Patty Lucas CFO

    Patty Lucas is Chief Financial Officer of LiveShopper Sassie. After a 30+ year career focused... on Commerical Lending in the banking industry, Patty began her work in Financial Consulting. She now manages the finances for LiveShopper as well as some of her previous banking clients. Patty is active in her community serving on the Board of the Hancock County Community Foundation and leading her church’s Foundation and Investment Committees.

    Patty earned her degree in Accounting & Finance from the University of Toledo and holds an MBA from the University of Findlay.

  • Brad Holdgreve VP of Sales

    Brad Holdgreve is a founding member of LiveShopper Sassie and the company's Vice President of Sales. He leads... all sales and business development efforts with over 100 partners around the world. Brad joined Corporate Research International (CRI) in 2002. He spent the next 10 years growing CRI into one of the leading market research companies specializing in mystery shopping and customer satisfaction measurement. After CRI was sold in 2012, Brad spent several more years in the research space with GfK before moving into the manufacturing industry.

    Brad earned his degree in Communications from Bluffton University.

  • Bob Brewster VP of Business Development

    Bob Brewster is LiveShopper Sassie's Vice President of Business Development. Bob started his research...career in 2003 with Corporate Research International (CRI) serving as the Director of Sales for almost 10 years. After CRI was sold in 2012, Bob worked as The Director and VP of Sales and Client Services for Alta360 Research until he joined the LiveShopper team in April 2020. Bob brings over 15 years of experience working in Market Research, Executive Development, and Client Services, with clients such as Marathon, Kroger, Abercrombie & Fitch, Aeropostale, Circle K, Dairy Queen International, Caribou Coffee, and more.
